The "Mac & Mo" show has dominated our news headlines for some time and with it, no doubt, an extremely large bill, which taxpayers will be forced to foot.
This charade is nothing more than a fallout of old comrades in arms. One accuses the other of being a "sell out" of an organisation's secrets.
I can only assume that from a purely legal aspect, there was and still is nothing illegal about a person passing information to the state regarding persons or organisations plotting against that state?
Please advise me precisely what illegal act Bulelani Ngcuka is supposed to have committed?
If this is purely an old political party matter, why on earth is it necessary to conduct a public inquiry using public funds ?
Or is this just a good old political subterfuge to divert attention from what some allege to be a real illegal act that of a civil servant accepting a bribe from a bidder in a government tender ?
