All this recent activity by the Scorpions is quite puzzling. It seems to be that they must have nothing on Jacob Zuma — otherwise why all this frantic activity?
Deputy President Jacob Zuma is innocent until proven guilty. No amount of manipulation of the information will convince us of anything to the contrary.
A long time ago, someone accused someone else of being a spy. The matter was heard in a commission — the accused was not vilified in the press, but instead vilified everyone else. Then, someone else overseas put up a hand and admitted to being a spy — how odd, since the self-confessed spy had already got away with it, and was now living happily in a far-off place. I smell something rotten here...
Now we have a new deputy president, our spy accused — cleared and living free — and our former deputy president, who is virtually a prisoner in his own country.
Conspiracy? Nah, just good old-fashioned democracy.
