Durban - Judge Noel Hurt has reserved judgment in the application by former deputy president Jacob Zuma and his attorney, Mike Hulley, for the return of documents seized from their premises by the Scorpions, reported the SABC on Tuesday.
Legal representatives for the two sides have spent the past two days arguing their case in Durban High Court.
Zuma's lawyers want the return of documents seized from his homes in Johannesburg and Nkandla, and items taken at his attorney's offices. They maintain proper legal procedures were not followed.
The State has opposed the application, saying that up to this point the applicants have been unable to identify a single document that is subject to privilege rules.
Judge Hurt is expected to make his decision by next Wednesday.
