De Lille barred from NPA headquarters |

ID leader Patricia de Lille, who was barred from attending a press conference to
announce the dropping of charges against ANC leader Jacob Zuma, said she was at
the NPA headquarters in Pretoria to listen as a state witness.
"I am witness number one on the prosecution of Zuma, and I have revealed many
information useful to the state's case. That is the main reason I am barred from
entering. You will remember the list of 80 witnesses for the state case. I was
number one," she said.
De Lille said she was not at the NPA headquarters for electioneering. "I am here
because I am involved."
But she admitted that she had to cut short an elections programme in the
Northern Cape just to be here, adding that she was very disappointed.
She was accompanied by two ID MPs and arrived at 8.30pm and was told she was not
allowed in.
